The false positive rate is real \u2014 particularly for complex multi-step agents that naturally produce varied tool call patterns. It&#8217;s also still missing some of the more sophisticated detection capabilities that will come with community contributions.<\/p>\n<p>But the foundation is there. And for a first release from a research team, this is genuinely impressive work.<\/p>\n<p>## My Final Take<\/p>\n<p>AgentMon is the monitoring piece that the AI agent security ecosystem has been missing. It&#8217;s not production-ready for every use case yet \u2014 but the architecture is sound, the MIT license is right, and the team is actively iterating.
